The September update brings clearer context to daily check-ins, more dependable journals and a smoother experience on smaller screens.
Clearer check-ins and trends
- Your latest check-in is easier to distinguish from your personal baseline and longer-term pattern.
- Trend calculations handle missing or invalid answers and gaps between check-ins more reliably.
- Check-ins follow your local calendar day, including entries made just after midnight.
More dependable journals
- Website journals have improved saving and clearer feedback when a save fails.
- Journals and voice recordings in the app are separated by account on shared devices.
- Support and privacy explanations have been updated.
- Older device-only notes with no recorded account owner are retained but hidden for privacy. Cloud journals remain available. If you need help recovering an older local note, contact support@psychpod.org before uninstalling the app.
Website improvements
- Dismiss individual notifications from the bell panel or notifications page. They stay dismissed after refresh. Messages, friend requests and earned badges are unaffected.
- Export your full journal history and access older entries more easily.
- Browse a more compact journal list on your phone.
- See clearer score explanations, including how much information supports a personal comparison.
- Two-factor checks verify current account security and keep private data locked if verification fails.
Mobile rollout
Our 5 September release announcement recorded Android version 1.4.1 as available on Google Play, with the iPhone update awaiting Apple review. Availability may differ by platform; check your app store for the latest version.
The following mobile improvements were still awaiting device testing in that release: swipe-to-dismiss notifications, pending journal-upload status with a sync button, verified recovery for eligible older notes, and clearer score explanations. These are planned follow-ups, rather than part of the confirmed mobile release described here.
PsychPod supports self-reflection. It is not a medical device or a crisis-monitoring service.
